Put yourself in the hands of our experts and feel the relief on your body.
The first course of manual physiotherapy takes 60 minutes, which includes a consultation/diagnosis of the musculoskeletal system. The physiotherapist then determines the appropriate form of therapy, or a combination of techniques from the list:
RECOMMENDATION
Therapy is especially suitable for people who have various functional diseases of the spine or joints. For people after operations and injuries or with neurological diseases of the musculoskeletal system. A contraindication to therapy is an acute pain, general weakness or fever.
RECOMMENDATION
The therapy is suitable for people with post-traumatic, post-operative swellings and swellings of lymphatic origin (in the case of lymphedema, the first treatment must be carried out at a specialist lymphological clinic). Contraindications are broken skin integrity, acute inflammatory, bacterial or fungal skin disease, cardiac edema, and acute venous thrombosis.
The method is based on applying a cotton elastic tape on the human body. The material and the application of the tape itself are designed to begin the body's own healing processes. Taps increase functioning of the metabolism in the tissues, which accelerates the regeneration process. They provide support and stability to muscles and joints (due to normalization of muscle tension, improvement of motion and adjustment of the movement pattern) and restore blood and lymphatic flow (reduction of inflammation, swelling and pain).
Kinesio tapes are 5 cm wide tapes (different colors), waterproof, breathable and can be worn for a long time (ideally 3-7 days). Before the actual application of the kinesio tape, it is advisable to clean the skin and it is recommended to remove any hair for optimal contact of the tape with the skin.
RECOMMENDATION
Taping is recommended for muscle and joint pain, also for the treatment of inflammations, swellings and hematomas, but also as a prevention of injuries. Further use for CHDT, scoliosis, people who suffer from headaches, have increased muscle tone, ankle sprains, shoulder dislocations, enthesopathy (tennis/golf elbow), strait syndrome (carpal tunnel syndrome), bunion (hallux valgus) , scars or transverse or longitudinal flat feet.
Taping is contraindicated if the skin is allergic to the adhesive on the tape, in case of skin diseases and damage (malignant melanoma of the skin, dermatitis, purulent skin lesions, eczema, ...). Taping is not possible in persons with fever, acute thrombosis or cardiopulmonary decompensation.
RECOMMENDATION
Exercise is especially suitable for those who have functional disorders of the spine and joints and want to improve their flexibility, mobility, stability and strength of the body. A contraindication to the exercise is an acute pain condition and the inability to practice given positions during exercise (on the back, on the side, sitting, etc.)
Device tractions are passive procedures in which mechanical force creates a centrifugal pull of the spine, limb or distal part of the root joint. During traction, the joint surfaces, joint capsules and ligaments are moved apart, and thus the painful blockage of the joint is removed, provided that the surrounding muscles are sufficiently relaxed.
Traction takes place on a traction couch with a traction unit. The thrust is precisely and individually dosed according to the patient's body weight and tolerance in relief positions.
We most often perform traction on the cervical and lumbar spine on the traction couch.
RECOMMENDATION
The procedure is recommended for people suffering from cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine pain, in the case of degenerative changes in the joints and spinal discs, or if there are root syndromes due to herniation of the intervertebral discs of the spine.
Contraindications to the procedure are inflammatory diseases of the spine and nervous system or cancer of the spine, spinal cord and nervous system. It is also not possible to perform the procedure in cases of hypermobility syndrome, psychological disorders that prevent relaxation, and those with pain radiating to the limbs during traction or dizziness during and after the traction test.
RECOMMENDATION
This exercise is suitable for people with respiratory diseases (bronchial asthma, pulmonary fibrosis, post Covid-19, various inflammations of the upper and lower respiratory tract, etc.). A contraindication to exercise is an acute pain, general weakness, shortness of breath and the inability to practice positions during exercise (on the back, on the side, sitting, etc.)
These are various coordination and balance exercises that serve to practice proper coordination and stability of the body and overall improvement of walking technique
During regular exercise, it helps to harmonize the movements of individual muscle groups of the body - when standing and walking. It improves body stability and acts as a prevention of injuries caused by falling, e.g. when slipping. We use various mats and platforms for balance training.
RECOMMENDATION
The exercise is suitable for those who have difficulties with body stability while standing and walking. A contraindication to exercise is an acute painful state of weight-bearing joints (hip, knee, ankle joints and feet) and the inability to assume given positions during exercise, e.g. by using compensatory aids (sticks, crutches, etc.)
An effective exercise aimed at strengthening the body's stabilization system. It includes the diaphragm (the main respiratory muscle), the muscles of the pelvic, the back muscles that surround the vertebrae of the spine and the transverse abdominal muscle - transversus abdominis (the deepest abdominal muscle).
Activation of these muscles create a solid and stronger center of the body.
We perform the exercise in different body positions (lying on the back, on the side, sitting, on all fours) and under the expert guidance of a physiotherapist.
We use the overball physio aid during exercise and we recommend practicing HSS as a preventive measure, even if you are not suffering from any pain.
RECOMMENDATION
The exercise is especially suitable for those who want to improve the stability of the upper body i.e. strengthen the abdominal and back muscles, and for those who have incorrect posture and various functional diseases of the spine. A contraindication to exercise is an acute pain condition and the inability to take the given positions during exercise (on the back, on the side, sitting, on all fours)
The SM System/or spiral stabilization of the spine are systematic exercises focused on the human musculoskeletal system, especially the spine. It combines rehabilitation, prevention, regeneration and fitness training. The main effect of the method is the stretching in the area of the intervertebral discs. The pressure exerted on the intervertebral disc is reduced and improves its function.
RECOMMENDATION
Exercise is suitable for those with various functional diseases of the spine and joints. Also for children above 5 years, adults and older people interested in healthy physical exercise and prevention of back pain. A contraindication to exercise is an acute pain condition and the inability to take the given positions during exercise (standing, sitting, kneeling)
Group exercise guided by a physiotherapist in the rehabilitation pool.Hydro Kinesiotherapy is movement therapy in water. It is an ideal tool for prevention and therapy of the most common, but also rarer disorders of the musculoskeletal system. Exercising in water relieves pain, and accelerates regeneration. Group exercise lasts 30 - 35 min.
Therapeutic procedure based on the vertical activation of the body during walking using Nordic Walking poles. The walk is under supervision of a physiotherapist. Pieniny Vertical Walking will make your spa treatment more enjoyable and improve your health condition.
RECOMMENDATION
The exercise is suitable for anyone who can walk approx. 1-3 km. A contraindication to exercise is an acute pain of weight-bearing joints (hip, knee, ankle joints and feet) and the inability to practice given positions during exercise.
