We want our clients to regain new strength and return home healthy. We offer an individual treatment plan, developed for each patient, including procedures according to their specific needs. We treat with natural healing resources - healthy mineral water Smerdžonka and the climatic conditions of the Pieniny National Park. The mix of treatment procedures are provided under the supervision of professionals.

Healing Mineral water Smerdžonka

Mineral water Smerdžonka is the foundation of our treatment. Sulphuric waters are beneficial for external treatment in the form of baths. Hydrogen sulfide from Smerdžonka is very well absorbed by the skin and mucous membranes. It improves elasticity in tissues, has an analgesic (pain-relieving), anti-inflammatory and antiseptic effect. Retention of sulfur in the skin and subcutaneous tissue has been proven for up to several hours after a sulfur bath, which can be prolonged with a dry body wrap after the bath.

Climatic Spa

The location around the spa has stimulating climate and other favorable bio climatological characteristics that support healing processes in the body. It satisfies climatic spa status requirements. Place is exceptional because of the beautiful environment of the national park, the quality and pure air, and the peaceful family atmosphere. It is the Pieniny climate we are grateful for being licensed as a climatic medical spa.

Climate treatment

The unique composition of climatic factors (altitude, temperature, pressure, humidity, air composition, sunshine, night darkness...) creates a type of climate that supports healing processes in the body.

Inhalation treatment

We take care of the hygiene of your respiratory tract. Inhalation of one of the most clean air in Slovakia and inhalation of natural mineral waters and ozone.

Hydrotherapy

Bathing in mineral water containing the free hydrogen sulfide provides pain-relieving, disinfecting and anti-inflammatory effects in the skin tissues and has a beneficial effect on your skin, muscles and joints.

Light therapy

The latest UVB phototherapy with the application of UV radiation (311 nm), the polarized light - BIOPTRON, and laser treatment help the formation and regeneration of damaged skin cells.

Physical therapy

Part of the spa treatment are therapy methods such as electrotherapy, ultrasound, magneto-therapy or laser therapy.

Movement physiotherapy

An individual and group kinesiotherapy in the form of education and training of basic movements: the stereotype of standing, walking and breathing helps in the adjustment of movement, respiratory, circulatory, immune and psychosomatic manifestations in patients.
